芳村圭准教授が土木学会水工学論文賞を受賞 JSCE Hydraulic Engineering thesis award for Assoc. Prof. Kei Yoshimura

平成25 年度（第16回）土木学会水工学論文賞に当専攻の芳村圭准教授の論文が選ばれ、2014年3月4日に授賞式がありました。受賞論文のタイトルは「アンサンブルカルマンフィルタを用いた水同位体比データ同化に向けた理想化実験」で、共著者である理化学研究所計算科学研究機構の三好建正博士と元カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校スクリプス海洋学研究所の金光正郎博士（故人）との共同受賞です。この賞は、平成25年度水工学論文集に掲載された300篇を超える論文の中で、特に独創性と発展性に秀でた最優秀論文1篇に与えられるものです。過去には当専攻の小池俊雄教授や沖大幹教授、平林由希子准教授も受賞されています。

The Hydraulic Engineering Committee in Japan Society of Civil Engineering gave the 16th Thesis Award to Assoc. Prof. Kei Yoshimura on March 4 2014. The title of the thesis is “Idealized experiments for data assimilation of vapor isotope with AGCM and ensemble Kalman filter” co-authored by Dr. Takemasa Miyoshi in AICS Riken and Dr. Masao Kanamitsu (deceased) in Scripps Institution of Oceanography UCSD. This award is given to the best paper among more than 300 papers in the annual collection of Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.
