霞ヶ浦・波崎海岸において現地勉強会を開催（水圏環境グループ）

水圏環境グループは、2013年10月19日・20日に、霞ヶ浦および波崎・九十九里海岸において、現地勉強会を開催しました。教員・学生合わせて80名弱の参加者があり、淡水化、港湾の建設、津波などを受けて、環境が大きく変化している同地域の現状を見学し、今後の研究の糧とするとともに現地を見るセンスを養いました。ほどほどの荒天にも恵まれ、自然の猛威と共生する社会のあり方について、さまざまな観点から多面的な議論を行いました。

Hydrosphere Environment Group of Civil Engineering Department conducted a field study trip to Lake Kasumigaura and Hazaki-Kujuukuri Coast on October 19-20, 2013. About 80 members including overseas students joined the trip. Multi-aspect discussions were made on the basis of observations of high water level, high waves and strong wind due to the occasional post-typhoon weather.
