新学期延期のお知らせ

　濱田総長から、このたびの東北地方太平洋沖地震後の諸状況に鑑み、新学期の授業開始日は教育部局がそれぞれの教育事情を考慮して判断する旨の方針が示されました。

　工学部・工学系研究科では、諸事情から判断して新学期の授業開始を5月6日（金）とします。土曜日を適宜授業日程に組み入れ、学期の授業終了は8月12日（金）となる見込みですが、詳細は後日通知します。

Notice for postponement of the new semester

President Hamada has announced that considering the current circumstances and aftermath of the Pacific Offshore Earthquakes on the Tohoku Region, the starting date of the new semester (Summer Semester 2011) will be determined by each Faculty and Graduate School based on its own educational situation.

Judging overall conditions, the Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering have decided to begin the new semester on Friday, May 6th. Saturdays will be integrated into the class schedule as deemed appropriate. The last day of the semester will be Friday, August 12th.

Specific details will be announced later.
