修士課程の佐谷茜さんが土木学会水工学論文奨励賞を受賞 JSCE Hydraulic Engineering young researcher award for Ms. Akane Saya

平成25 年度（第22回）土木学会水工学論文奨励賞に修士課程2年生で現在英国インペリアルカレッジロンドン留学中の佐谷茜さんの論文「IsoRSMを用いた放射性物質移流シミュレーション及び不確実性の分析」が選ばれ、2014年3月4日に授賞式がありました。受賞論文は、福島第一原発事故による大気中への放射性物質の飛散のシミュレーションをテーマとした大変重要な研究です。この賞は、平成25年度水工学論文集に掲載された300篇を超える論文のうち若手研究者によって執筆されたものから、特に独創性と発展性に秀でた優秀論文の主著者3名程度に与えられるものの一つとなっています。

The Hydraulic Engineering Committee in Japan Society of Civil Engineering gave the 22nd Young Researcher Award to Ms. Akane Saya, who is currently studying abroad at Imperial College London, on March 4 2014. The title of the paper is “Simulation of radioactive tracer transport using IsoRSM and uncertainty analyses”. This award is given to two or three young excellent researchers in the annual collection of Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.
