Prof. Taikan Oki was elected as an AGU Fellow of this year.

The honor reflects Prof. Oki’s interdisciplinary achievements in hydrological science, climate change, and sustainability, and also his leadership pioneering a new academic field (Global hydrology and world water resources).
Since the establishment of the AGU Fellows program in 1962, and in accordance with AGU bylaws, no more than 0.1 percent of the total membership of AGU is recognized annually.
