市村強准教授らの都市シミュレーションに関する論文がACM Gordon Bell Prize finalistにノミネートされました.ACM Gordon Bell Prizeは理工学全般の計算科学では最高の賞のひとつです. City Simulation by Associate Professor Tsuyoshi Ichimura et al. was nominated for a finalist of ACM Gordon Bell Prize, one of the most recognized awards in high performance computing.

“Physics-based urban earthquake simulation enhanced by 10.7 BlnDOF X 30 K time-step unstructured FE non-linear seismic wave simulation (by Tsuyoshi Ichimura, Kohei Fujita, Seizo Tanaka, Muneo Hori, Maddegedara Lalith, Yoshihisa Shizawa and Hiroshi Kobayashi)” was nominated for ACM Gordon Bell Prize finalist. Professors (Tsuyoshi Ichimura, Seizo Tanaka, Muneo Hori and Maddegedara Lalith) are our faculty member, and Dr. Kohei Fujita is the former student of our department. ACM Gordon Bell Prize is one of the highest honored awards in high performance computing.
