本専攻修了生の米良有玄さん、清田准教授らの論文がJC-IGS論文賞（国際ジオシンセティックス学会日本支部）を受賞。A research paper by Mr. Tomoharu MERA co-authored with Dr. Kiyota has received the Best Paper Award from Japan Chapter of International Geosynthetics Society.

2016年12月1日、本専攻修了生の米良有玄さん、Xinye HAN さん、Christian HAUSSNERさん、片桐俊彦技官（清田研）、原田道幸氏（東京インキ）、および清田准教授の論文（題目：砂・礫盛土に敷設した改良型ジオセルとジオグリッドによる補強土擁壁の振動台模型実験）が、ジオシンセティックスに関する学術および技術の進展に顕著な貢献をしたと認められ、国際ジオシンセティックス学会日本支部の2016年度JC-IGS論文賞を受賞しました。

 A research paper by Mr. Tomoharu MERA, Dr. Xinye HAN, Mr. Christian HAUSSNER, Mr. Toshihiko KATAGIRI (Technical director at Kiyota lab.) and Mr. Michiyuki HARATA (Tokyo INK. CO.), co-authored with Associate Prof. Kiyota, entitled “Shaking table model tests on reinforced soil retaining wall with a new-type of geocell and geogrids embedded in sandy and gravelly backfills”, has received Best Paper Award for 2016 from Japan Chapter of International Geosynthetics Society on 1^st December 2016.
