古関潤一教授がTransportation Infrastructure Geotechnology誌 の2015年Fumio Tatsuoka Best Paper Awardを受賞しました．
Professor Junichi Koseki received the 2015 Fumio Tatsuoka Best Paper Award by the Transportation Infrastructure Geotechnology.
当専攻の古関潤一教授が，澁谷啓教授（神戸大学）とTransportation Infrastructure Geotechnology誌上で発表した「ジオシンセティックスによる補強土擁壁・補強盛土を用いた地震・津波・降雨災害の低減」に関する論文に対し て，2015年Fumio Tatsuoka Best Paper Awardが授与されました．同論文は，2013年10月にイタリアで開催された国際シンポジウムでの基調講演の内容をとりまとめたものです．
Prof. Junichi Koseki (Department of Civil Engineering, UTokyo) is selected by the Transportation Infrastructure Geotechnology as the winner for the 2015 Fumio Tatsuoka Best Paper Award. The Journal recognizes Prof. Koseki for his significant technical contribution through the paper “Mitigation of Disasters by Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and Rains by Means of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Soil Retaining Walls and Embankments”. The paper was co-authored with Prof. Satoru Shibuya (Kobe Univ.). The paper summarizes his keynote lecture delivered at the International Symposium on Design and Practice of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Soil Structures held in Bologna, Italy, on 14–16 October, 2013.
