Professor Tetsuya Ishida and Colleagues Receive the 2024 JSCE Outstanding Paper Award

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Tetsuya Ishida received the 2024 JSCE Outstanding Paper Award This study developed a high-fidelity digital twin of an existing pier structure in a corrosive environment by integrating multi-scale, multi-physics simulations with extensive field data. The model successfully reproduced current damage conditions and enabled precise prediction of future deterioration and structural performance under various repair scenarios. Recognized for its originality and practical significance in supporting lifecycle-based infrastructure management, the work was awarded the JSCE Outstanding Paper Award.
